Dear Matt,
This past year, my partner, Joe Scandone and I, celebrated 20 years in business. We couldn’t be more proud of the accomplishments of The Malvern School and the high-quality program we provide children each and every day in our schools. A big piece of our pride is the partnership we share with Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation. For the past 11 years, our commitment to Alex and her mission to find a cure for childhood cancer has surpassed our expectations as an organization. As much as we know that the money we raise goes to this amazing cause, we also know that the children in our schools also benefit from our partnership with Alex’s and that is just amazing!
This year, we set our goal to raise $120,000 for Alex’s to commensurate our 20th anniversary – and boy did we meet that goal! In fact, not only did we meet that goal, we surpassed that goal by 23% and we raised $147,536.55! From the Lemonade Stands that our schools and our little friends host each June, to our virtual lemonade stand, to the various events and fundraisers our director coordinate with families, to your generous donation of $50.00, we are all contributing to Alex’s legacy of hope that one day we will find a cure for childhood cancer.
